DR JOHN VICKERS
Pastor

Dr. John began serving as Pastor of FBC Gulf Breeze in May 2024. He is a two time graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a graduate of Mississippi College.

John was born in Pascagoula, MS and raised in coastal Mississippi and Alabama. He earned a BS from Mississippi College (2012), and a Masters of Arts in Christian Education (2017) and Doctorate of Ministry in Strategic Leadership (2025) from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

John married his wife, Jordan, in 2015, and they have one daughter, Elizabeth.

MATTHEW DUNKIN
Worship Pastor

Matthew joined the team at First Baptist Gulf Breeze in September 2022 as the Worship Pastor. He is married to his beautiful wife Shelby. They have two sons. Matthew enjoys hunting, fishing, and any other outdoor-related activity. He is a Miami Dolphins fan, as well as a huge Alabama football fan because he is from Tuscaloosa, AL. Matthew is passionate about sharing the Gospel through song and leading other believers in worshiping the Lord Jesus.

TERESA FURNEY
Administrator

Teresa joined the team in January of 2018, and she brings years of ministry experience with her. Though her official title is Administrator, she is involved in so much more. Teresa is married to her husband, Rocky. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
